Contest Description

LUV Toyota is sponsoring the "Dream Wedding Giveaway" in which one lucky couple will win a wedding package, including a bridal gown, reception, honeymoon and a free new 2008 Toyota vehicle, with a total prize package value of approximately $50,000.  See "Prize List" for a complete list of prizes.

This document, called "Dream Wedding Giveaway Contest Rules", explains all of the rules of the contest, including eligibility for participation as a contestant or voter, entry as a contestant, registration as a voter, rules of voting and the Prize Package.

Definitions

Contest – The Dream Wedding Giveaway as described by this document.
Contestant – Eligible couples who register to participate at www.luvtoyota.com, and complete all required forms and comply with all Contest rules.
Preliminary Contestant – Eligible couples who register to participate at www.luvtoyota.com.
Prize Package – The list of prizes from all Prize Vendors attached hereto.
Prize Vendor – LUV Toyota and all other companies and individuals participating in the Contest by donating prizes.
Voter – An individual who registers to vote for Contestants at www.luvtoyota.com.
Wedding Contest Rules – This document and its attachments, representing the official rules of the Contest.
Winning Contestant – The Contestant (couple) who receives the most votes during the voting period, and complies with all of the Wedding Contest Rules.

Contest Description

Contestants must enter the Contest by completing the application form at www.luvtoyota.com during the period from February 4 through February 14, 2008.  Each couple completing the form shall, collectively, be considered as a "Preliminary Contestant."  Each Preliminary Contestant will be required to sign this document and present valid photo identification.  Each couple will be photographed at LUV Toyota. Upon completion of the written application and photograph, each couple will become a Contestant.

Information about each couple, along with a photograph, will be posted on the LUV Toyota website where LUV Toyota customers, friends and family can place votes for their favorite couple from February 14, 2008 through Mar 14, 2008. 

Prior to voting, Voters must register by providing the required information at www.luvtoyota,com.  Voting is limited to one vote, per day, per registered Voter.  Each Voter may only use one email address to vote. Votes will be counted daily and posted on the web site. At certain times, and without notice, LUV Toyota may allow "bonus voting" opportunities which may affect the outcome of the Contest.

At the end of the voting period, the Contestant with the most votes will be eligible to win the Prize Package, described below.  The winning Contestant will be announced on March 21, 2008.  The winning Contestant must declare their wedding date and location, by April 11, 2008, and be married between the dates of June 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008.  The reception date must be agreed upon by the Winning Contestant, LUV Toyota and participating prize vendors.  Prizes will be given to the Contestant on or before the wedding day.

Eligibility

  1. This Contest is open to the general public as well as customers of LUV Toyota.  No purchase is necessary in order to enter as a Contestant or to vote as a Voter.  Purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
  2. Contestants must be 21 years old to participate, and provide valid proof of identity and age.
  3. Voters must be at least 18 years of age and present identification and proof of age to LUV Toyota upon request.
  4. Contestants must meet New York State marriage eligibility requirements in order to participate and receive prizes.
  5. Contestants must agree to be married during the period from June 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008, and provide proof of marriage as a condition precedent to collecting the Prize Package. 
  6. Contestants agree to hold a wedding reception at LUV Toyota.  Contestants consent to the video taping and photographing of the pre-wedding preparation, wedding ceremony and wedding reception by LUV Toyota.  Contestants may be married at the location of their choice on or before the reception date. 
  7. Contestants authorize LUV Toyota to use photographs, video and information about them in LUV Toyota dealership advertising in any medium without compensation.
  8. Contestants agree to provide their email addresses, mailing address and phone numbers willing and give the administrators of the contest and the employees of LUV Toyota permission to contact them via any means regarding the contest and other information to be determined by LUV Toyota.

Legal

  1. No prize is redeemable for cash and must be accepted as awarded.  
  2. The Winning Contestant is responsible for planning their wedding and for arranging to receive the prizes from the Prize Vendors.  The Winning Contestant agrees that additional services, products and supplies which can reasonably be provided from the Prize Vendors will be individually contracted for at an additional cost to be paid by the Winning Contestant. 
  3. The Winning Contestant is responsible for providing all products, goods and services not provided by the Prize Vendors.
  4. Contestants are responsible for paying all taxes, registration fees, license fees and title fees related to the Toyota vehicle and other prizes.
  5. Participation in the LUV Toyota Wedding Contest does not create a contractual relationship between the Contest Participant and LUV Toyota or any participating Prize Vendor.  
  6. LUV Toyota, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to alter and amend these contest Rules.
  7. The Winning Contestant holds LUV Toyota, its owners, agents and employees, and all Prize Vendors, harmless, and indemnifies the same, from any and all liabilities arising out of the Contest and the administration of Prizes, or the use of Prizes.  
  8. The Winning Contestant shall be considered to be the "host" of the wedding reception, and LUV Toyota shall act in the capacity of a rented hall.  The Winning Contestant shall be responsible for any and all property damage and personal injury arising out of the wedding reception.
  9. LUV Toyota reserves the right to disqualify any Contestant, including the Winning Contestant, who, in LUV Toyota's sole discretion, is not acting in good faith, violates Contest rules, or displays conduct that is detrimental to the image of LUV Toyota.
  10. LUV Toyota is not responsible for the actions, or inactions, of any Prize Vendor other than LUV Toyota.
  11. Employees of LUV Toyota, and their immediate families, are not eligible to participate.
  12. LUV Toyota reserves the right to alter all time periods specified herein.
  13. This Contest shall be administered by the owners and employees of LUV Toyota.  The decisions of the administrators are final and not subject to challenge.
  14. In order to ensure fairness in voting, LUV Toyota requires all voters to submit the requested information, and to allow their computers to accept cookies for verification purposes.  LUV Toyota is not responsible for inability of any person to vote in this contest for any reason, including computer or internet failure, firewalls, spam blockers, personal browser settings or rules of the internet service provider. 
  15. Certain collected information will be used by LUV Toyota and the Prize Vendors for marketing purposes.  Registration to vote constitutes consent of the voter to receive promotional information from LUV Toyota and Prize Vendors.  LUV Toyota does not sell any collected information to any company not associated with this contest.
